Important Updates Regarding the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

We want to inform you of recent changes to the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) as announced by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on January 11, 2024. The FCC has outlined wind-down rules for the ACP, stating that without Congressional action, the current program is expected to continue only until April 2024.



What does this mean for you and your ACP discount?

If Congress does not take action soon to allocate additional funds, the ACP discount you have been receiving towards your internet service will cease after your April billing cycle.



Currently, no action is required on your part. However, in the absence of additional funding, please anticipate an increase in your bill amount equivalent to your ACP discount starting from May. We understand that this may present challenges, but rest assured, we are committed to supporting you through this transition and will keep you informed every step of the way.



Is there a possibility of the ACP being extended?

We are hopeful! Bipartisan efforts in Congress have introduced a bill aimed at securing additional funding to extend the ACP program. We, along with many other service providers, stand in support of this bill.



Can I transfer my ACP benefit?

Should you choose to transfer your ACP benefit to another provider, please note that after February 7, 2024, it will not be possible to transfer your ACP benefit back to AtLink Services.



Is enrollment still open for ACP?

Customers who are not currently enrolled have until February 7, 2024, to complete their enrollment for the ACP benefit. Those households that have successfully applied, been approved, and are already receiving the monthly internet discount before February 8, 2024, will continue to receive their ACP benefit until the available funds are insufficient to cover all discounts, provided they remain enrolled in the program.
